Bimini Undersea and The Bimini Bay Resort are proud to announce a brand new "Family and Friends" Dive Package Special. Available right now through the remainder of 2010. The package includes 6 nights luxury accommodations at the Bimini Bay Resort and Marina on North Bimini, Bahamas. You will be staying in one of the resorts 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suites with full amenities. The air conditioned suites sleep 6 adults comfortably and range between 1100 and 1500 square feet. The spacious living area features a living room/dining room with plush furniture, full-kitchen complete with cutlery and tableware, porcelain-top stove and granite countertops, refrigerator and microwave and terrace. Other amenities include coffee and coffee maker, iron and ironing board, extra linens, stacking washer and dryer, AC, color television, high-speed internet (at an additional cost) and AM/FM clock radio. All bathrooms feature Molton Brown products and all beds feature luxury linens. The package also includes 5 days of diving (2 dives per day, SCUBA certification required) with Bill and Nowdla Keefe’s Bimini Undersea. Dives include the use of SCUBA cylinders, weights, and weight belts. All other gear is available for rent if needed. With over 26 years experience of taking people diving in and around Bimini, there is no one better to show you the best of what Bimini's "Undersea" has to offer than Nowdla and Bill Keefe. For those family members or friends that do not (yet) SCUBA Dive, we also offer Non-Diving companion rates that allow them to accompany you on the dive boat for all regularly scheduled SCUBA trips and to go snorkeling (mask, fins, and snorkel gear provided) at all appropriate sites. This week long "Family and Friends" special is also an excellent way for non-divers to become fully certified SCUBA divers! And Bimini Undersea offers a couple of different ways to accomplish this. You can enroll in Bimini Undersea’s Home Study E-Learning SCUBA Certification Program. Taking the academic portion of your course at home, at your own pace, and doing your confined and openwater training during your week’s stay. You can also contact your local dive retailer to arrange for your academic and confined water training where you live, then, complete your openwater training with us while on your vacation. With so many different training options available to prospective divers today, it has never been easier or more convenient to become a Certified SCUBA Diver. Not ready for the full course yet ? Non-Divers can take SCUBA for a "test drive" (so to speak) by enrolling in an Introductory SCUBA Lesson and Reef Dive with one of our certified SCUBA Instructors. A great way to get introduced to the sport of SCUBA Diving. And with our new Home Study E-Learning SCUBA Certification Program your lesson and dive may now qualify towards your full SCUBA Certification. The week long Family and Friends special is available beginning Monday, September 6th, 2010. You may arrive any day for 6 consecutive nights. However, there are a limited number of suites available for this special so it’s a good idea to book your stay as early as possible.
